About FRIEND Farm Animal Sanctuary
Over the past 25 years this amazing charity has recused and cared for over 2000 animals. Their mission is to offer a life long, no-kill, free roaming, safe haven to unwanted, neglected or abused non-human animals. Whilst educating about animals, veganism and sustainable ecology. The charity relays solely on donations from the public.
I personally spend as much time at the sanctuary as possible volunteering and being with the animals, and can say that it's a brilliant charity. If you're based in the UK they also have their own festival and some other great events.
