The Basic Twice Daily Ritual

As a starting point, here is the twice daily ritual, designed to be carried out in the morning when you wake up, and at night before climbing into bed:


Step One: The Cleanse

Cleansing it essential for removing dead skin cells, pollution and debris from the skin.

Depending on your skin type you might go for a superfood oil cleanser, superfood cream cleanser or floral water and oil shake and spray cleanser.

Go for what you feel most drawn to in terms of ingredients, visual and usage appeal.

Step Two: The Tone

Toning is essential for rebalancing the skin's natural PH after cleansing, and preparing the skin to be moisturised. It also "wakes" the skin up and helps to close the pores. Protecting it from clogging and blocked, congested skin.

Know your skin and you preference, maybe you like the idea of something light and free from essential oil? Or perhaps something that smells like a fresh rose garden? Or maybe a shake and spray that tones and hydrates?


Step Three: The Moisturise

Moisturising is essential for ALL skin types, yes even oily skin needs to be moisturised to stop it from looking dull. Moisturising your skin helps to hydrate all areas of it and provides the base to great looking and feeling skin.

Choose something that suits your skin type and lifestyle. If your skin is dry you might like to go for a thick and nourishing beauty balm, whereas if your skin is on the normal or oily side perhaps a superfood serum would be your ideal day time moisturiser?

Unless your skin is dry most of the time, you might be best with a seperate day and night cream. This is what we recommend for very normal, combination or oily skin - a lighter day time superfood serum and then a thicker, nourishing night cream
