WHICH MOISTURISER IS BEST FOR YOU?

This week brings us to our final post in this mini-series as we have a look at how to choose which of our organic, superfood packed moisturisers is best for your skin.

The timing is perfect as after a series of wet and windy days, skin all around the country will be in need of some nurturing due to overexposure from the high winds.

Luckily, here at Rawgaia, we think we have just the skin food to help!

As well as creating amazing moisturisers for our three main ranges (MSM Organic Beauty, Organic Goji Goddess and Hemp Glow), we have also made a little something extra special for all our male fans and the gentlemen in your lives, our Organic For Her Sons moisturiser.

We think by adding this to our range of superfood skincare, we have truly made sure there is a suitable option for every skin type when it comes to moisturising.

We'll start by looking at our unique For Her Sons moisturiser. This product was designed especially with men in mind and is a easy-to-apply balm with a delicious, earthy scent.

It's base is the ever popular cacao butter, simply the best choice for adding and retaining moisture to your skin. However, in order to maximise the absorbency of the product, we've also added apricot kernel and jojoba oil.

We chose to use essential oils of organic ylang ylang, lavender and patchouli to ensure this had a masculine scent, miles away from the floral scents often associated with moisturising products.

With Christmas just around the corner, For Her Sons would make a great stocking filler for your sons, brothers and partners and help them to look after their skin, especially during the cold winter months.

If however, you are looking for a traditional floral scent and your skin is relatively 'normal' in the range of dry to oily, your best bet would be our Organic Goji Goddess Beauty Balm.

Organic Geranium, Palmarosa and Lavender essential oils are used in combination for a light, gorgeous smelling product whilst the Organic Goji Berry extract adds another beautiful scent to the mix as well as being rich in amino acids that help with the repair of skin cells at the deepest levels.

This balm combines organic cacao seed butter, rosehip and jojoba seed oil to create an amazingly absorbent product, leaving your skin hydrated, soft and smelling divine.

Perhaps you suffer from dry skin though and you've been venturing out with a scarf protecting your face as the heavy wind and rain contributes to our skin drying out even quicker than usual.

Hemp Seed Oil is an interesting and incredibly useful ingredient. Absolutely jam packed with essential fatty acids, it utilises it's low comedogenic rating to work to prevent clogged pores and reduce the appearance of acne.

Additionally, the presence of one EFA in particular, gamma-linoleic acid (GLA) is vital as it is an anti-inflammatory substance which can help to relieve red, inflamed, sore skin.
