I love a good music festival, thats for sure ;) I usually take my kids with me if the festival looks suitable, so I like to be prepared for every eventuality as we tend to camp. But even with small people in toe, you only really need a few raw skincare basics to see you through the wildest of festivals or craziest camping trips.
Here's my recommended products that I pack for EVERY FESTIVAL that I attend:
Raw, Organic Shea Butter, 120ml / £14.99
This is the ultimate skin softener and I got through half a jar of this when I was partying at Glastonbury this year. I slather it on at night and when I wake up in the morning my feet feel like I've been walking on clouds. Total BLISS! I also use it as a face and body moisturiser, it tends not to melt in the UK summertime too.
Raw, Organic Aloe Vera Gel, 120ml / £19.99
Full of minerals as we mix it with seaweed, this is the ultimate raw product for your first aid bag. It's amazing for sunburn, insect bites, minor cuts and burns. I also use it for cooling down my feet if I've been stomping around in wellies all day.
Raw, Organic Coconut Butter, 90g / £12.99
This smells so good that I could just eat it!!! I personally use it as an all over body moisturiser and hair conditioning treatment for hair that's been in the sun all day. I have also found that if I smoother myself with it in the evening the mozzies don't seem to be able to latch onto my skin to bite me. Either this to they think it's so gross to them that they just don't bother. Either way..., I'm happy!
Organic Tea Tree Floral Water, 50ml / £1.49
I use this as a hand sanitiser. I mix it 50 / 50 with the Organic Lavender Floral Water and spray it all over my hands when I need to clean them if there are no taps and soap available. It smells beautiful and I feel really clean and fresh. I keep it in my handbag at all times.
So there you have it, 4 or 5 natural products to see you through your time in nature.
Enjoy!
